St Margaret's CofE

Primary School

A welcoming village school in the of the Rottingdean community

We will be following the scheme Power Maths and this term we are going to be learning all about place value. In year 4, times tables are going to be very important because the better you know your times tables, the easier maths will become. So, I need you to make sure you are really trying hard to learn your times tables. In Year 2 and Year 3 you will have looked at your 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 times tables. Don't forget about these, as practice makes perfect, but in Year 4 we are going to start looking at our 6, 7, 8 and 9 times tables. By the end of Year 4 you should know ALL of the times tables, so make sure you start practicing now.

If you find times tables a little tricky, please don't worry because I have lots of resources that will help you. Try your hardest, keep practicing and in time they will become easier!

Below are lots of great websites you can visit to practice your maths.
