Life's Little Victories

Here is where we will share some success stories in home learning. If you have found a way of learning that really works for your family, please get in touch and share your ideas.

'Our children have Nerf guns. We write words or numbers onto post-it notes and stick them on the wall. Then we ask the children questions like - how do you spell 'that' - and they have to shoot the correct answer with their guns. The kids love it. It makes learning fun.' Parent of children in Year 1 and Year 4

'We have been learning practical things such as full name, address, date of birth, months of the year, planting seeds, how to cook' Parent of child in Reception and Year 2

'I bought a book called Times Fables which has really helped my child to learn their times tables. They remember the stories well' Parent of children in Reception, Year 2 and Year 3
