Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to St Margaret's C of E Primary School

There is much to celebrate at St Margaret's. Our school is a welcoming, happy school where all who are part of our school community are helpful, considerate and respectful of each other. The children are very happy and enjoy learning. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated staff team who strive to provide a safe, caring environment where all children are able to enjoy their learning and thrive. We value each other and work together as a community to support our wonderful children. Our vision for the school, created with our Christian values at the heart of it, underpins all that we do and want for the children in our school:

Together through Christ

we will be…

Responsible and Resilient

Thoughtful and Tolerant

Confident and Caring

Lifelong Learners

We want the children to be Responsible for themselves, each other and the world around them and to face the many challenges that life presents with a Resilient attitude.

They should be Thoughtful when dealing with the big issues and with the small ones and be Tolerant of everyone's ideas, beliefs and thoughts.

The children at St Margaret's should leave here Confident in themselves and what they can achieve and have a Caring heart towards the needs of others.

We want to foster and develop a love for every aspect of education and of life so the children become Lifelong Learners.

We work in partnership with parents and carers and very much value the support and contribution they make to school life. The school also enjoys a close partnership with St Margaret's Church. Because home, school and parish work together, we are able to provide a happy, caring and effective learning environment, where expectations are high.

We hope that you enjoy looking around our website – although this is only a tiny glimpse of how wonderful our school is, so please do come and visit us and see for yourself what makes St Margaret's such a special place to be!
