Contact tracing over half term
Schools are expected to track and trace any positive cases of Covid-19 over half term.
Where pupils, students or staff test positive for COVID-19 during half-term, having developed symptoms more than 2 days since being in school or college, no action is needed.
Staff, young people, parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace. However, where pupils or staff test positive having developed symptoms within 2 days of being in school or college, (ie you get symptoms by Sunday 30th May and subsequently test positive) you should email email@example.com to inform me, so that I can identify close contacts and advise on self-isolation, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school or college.
I will check my emails twice daily over the half term break for any contact regarding this.
